Mental Health Lived Experience Register
The purpose of the Mental Health Lived Experience Register (the Register) is to provide a mechanism for people living with lived experience [of mental health issues] to provide feedback, observations, ideas and recommendations for improving Mental Health Services in South Australia. It is open to both ‘consumers’ and ‘carers’.
South Australian Mental Health Commission

NGO Lived Experience Workforce Project (LEWP)
The SA Mental Health Coalitions Lived Experience Workforce Project aims to support the development and growth of the lived experience workforce in the non-government mental health sector. They provide training, support and leadsership development to the lived experience NGO sector.
Health Consumers Alliance of SA (HCA)
A strong and effective voice for the promotion and protection of health consumer wellbeing and rights, HCA promotes health equity and provides systemic advocacy to inform, shape and sustain consumer centred care. We believe that consumer engagement results in better planning and policy-making and hence better health outcomes and community wellbeing.
As a peak body, HCA seeks to promote and strengthen the consumer voice and promote consumer leadership. An important role of HCA is promoting the policy and practice of consumer engagement across the SA health care sector, including public, private and non-government service providers.
